Montresor, Let’s Go For A Walk!

Listed a “Plus Beaux Villages de France”, the name Montrésor (literally, Mytreasure) already sounds like an invitation. Bordering the Indrois River, this charming village has pretty, medieval streets, dotted with half-timbered houses where you can happily lose yourselves. The Montrésor Chateau, built with stones that tell 1,000 years’ of history is a high point of the walk. The Collegiate Church of Saint John the Baptist is a listed Historic Monument and the Halle des Cardeux are also incredibly beautiful. This charming village is located 40 minutes from the hotel.

During July and August evenings, the village runs “Solar Nights”, a light and sound trail around Montrésor at dusk: a midsummer night’s dream.
